C Murphy Boy Scott's Food Drive

Boy Scouts food drive

The Boy Scouts of America help the food pantry with their annual scouting for food and other food drives. The scouting for food drive is when a local boy scout puts a bag on one’s front porch. A week later, the Boy Scouts will pick it up. This program is sponsored by United Way and Price Chopper. The Cub Scouts and the Girl Scouts help gather and distribute the bags.

Dear C Murphy

What the boy Scott’s do is a very, very nice thing. It must feel good to do something good for the poor and homeless. I think that everyone should have a home to stay in for the hash winters and for the fun holidays … well I sure would. What I am trying to say is that what you do is great and you should keep on doing it!!!!
